Hello World!

I often ride ADD and coffee powered waves and find myself reading a lot of interesting things. After months of bothering my lovely girlfriend by sharing all of these interesting stories, she suggested that I start a blog to channel these tangents and weird facts. This is not to say that I will stop sharing niche information altogether, some stories are far too interesting not to share.

In the past, I've considered keeping a physical journal because I've become a big pen and paper guy. However, there are a few reasons why I've decided to pursue this avenue instead. For one, notebooks are a bit limiting. I keep a notebook in my backpack at all times and find it extremely useful for cataloging whimsical ideas for stock trades, future book writing endeavors, or just keeping a to do list so I don't forget about my Economics problem set. But, the goal of this is to keep a solid and boundless record of my more developed thoughts.

I've taken some classes that resulted in longer papers which I really enjoyed putting together, so I'll probably start this by posting a few of those. After that, I don't know what this platform holds and what my goal is. Perhaps I'm hoping that someone affiliated with The Ringer sees this and hires me. Maybe I can garner enough subscribers to attract some paid sponsorships.

If anything this will hopefully serve as a record of my train of thought.
